Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
• Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning activities
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children
• Certification (or willingness to obtain): High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education is preferred) CPR and First Aid certification 90 hour Preschool Certificate or CDA ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act Certificate) Basic Health & Safety Certificate 9 hour

Communication Certificate Skills:

• Experience working with students in a classroom or childcare setting
• Behavior management skills to create a positive learning environment
• Babysitting or nannying experience to provide individualized care for each child
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Classroom management skills to effectively engage students in learning activities
