Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool/PreK Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year! In this dynamic role, you will inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years, fostering a love of learning through engaging activities and thoughtful instruction. You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your passion for early childhood education will help shape the bright futures of our youngest students, ensuring they develop essential skills in literacy, math, physical activity, and social interaction. Duties Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks such as Montessori or other innovative approaches. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and promoting respectful interactions among children. Support children's individual needs through tailored activities that incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques. Facilitate engaging learning experiences in literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects to stimulate curiosity and promote skill mastery. Maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessments, standardized testing results, and behavioral observations to inform instruction and communicate with families. Collaborate with colleagues, specialists in childhood development, and parents to support each child's overall welfare and educational journey. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and child welfare policies to create a secure learning environment. Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching physical education. Proven experience working with children in preschool or toddler care settings; familiarity with classroom experience is essential. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for children with diverse needs including special education and early intervention requirements. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Expertise in childhood development principles and behavior management techniques to foster positive social-emotional growth. Competence in using standardized testing tools to assess student progress accurately. AA or
