• Full-time Child Care/Preschool located in Silver Spring (New Hampshire Ave) is looking to hire a full-time energetic and creative Preschool Teacher.

Candidate must be qualified to work with this age group with the minimum training requirement.

NOTE:

MUST HAVE TRAINING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. TRAINING RQUIRED

45 hours Preschool Curriculum and 45 hours Child Development or equivalent college courses in Early Childhood Education. Minimum one year teaching experience; however, will consider less experience.

Good communication skills:

able to communicate effectively with parents and staff; able to follow curriculum, initiate lesson plans and follow through. Creative and organized lesson planning; classroom management. Expected to do daily reports, etc. . Computer skills Will need to take training (if not already) in First Aide, CPR, ADA, Health & Safety, Breast Feeding, and medication training.
