Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods to promote safety and engagement. Support classroom management by helping organize activities that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development. Implement age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate learning and curiosity in line with childhood development principles. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times. Provide basic first aid when necessary and communicate effectively with children to address their needs compassionately. Collaborate with lead caregivers to observe children's progress and report any behavioral or developmental concerns. Support special education initiatives and work with children with disabilities to ensure inclusive participation in all activities. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is preferred. Degree preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education practices, childhood development milestones, and behavior management techniques. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to remain energetic, patient, attentive, and flexible in a dynamic childcare environment.
