Toddler Assistant

Toddler Assistant Lever's Daycare is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Toddler Assistant to join our team. This position supports the Toddler Program Lead in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow through daily routines, play, and positive interaction. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, hands-on, and enjoys working with young children in a fast-paced childcare setting.

Position Requirements:

Full-time position: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week Must be reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance Must be able to work well as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting with daily classroom routines and activities Supervising and engaging with toddlers throughout the day Supporting children's emotional, social, and developmental growth Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Assisting during meals, diapering, transitions, and nap time Communicating respectfully with parents and coworkers Following all daycare policies and state licensing regulations

Qualifications:

Experience working with children preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Patient, dependable, and caring personality Ability to multitask and stay engaged throughout the day Strong teamwork and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and wants to be part of a positive and supportive childcare environment.

Pay:

$15.10 - $17.00 per hour
