Assistant Director, Childcare Center

Administration Develop, implement and evaluate center policies and programs Assist in hiring and training new staff members Assist with the purchase of equipment and supplies for the program Assist with the creating and implementation of the program budget Assist with menu planning in accordance with CACFP guidelines and oversee food ordering Oversee enrollment and billing including DHS Scholarships in accordance with guidelines Maintain confidentiality of children and families at all times Health & Safety Remain knowledgeable and up to date with local, state and federal laws regarding childcare, safety requirements, and inspection and certification procedures Implement health procedures including medication administration, tooth brushing, sanitation, and administering First Aid/CPR as needed Ensure facilities are maintained and cleaned according to center policies and licensing rules Daily Operations Oversee day-to-day operations including being available to address parent, child, and staff concerns Develop weekly staff schedule and assistant with managing staffing for absences Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents/guardians Ensures all required documentation for staff members and enrolled children is on file and up-to-date Willing and able to work in any classroom at any time based on the needs of the center Perform other duties as assigned by

Owner/ Director Pay:

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
