The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of young learners. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy and physical education, and ensuring the overall welfare of each child in their care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Engage children in physical education activities to promote health and wellness. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Implement literacy education strategies to enhance reading and writing skills among preschoolers. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective classroom management strategies. Observe and assess children's development, providing early intervention when necessary to support individual needs. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience for all students. Skills Strong experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly in preschool environments. Proficient in lesson planning that incorporates various learning styles and developmental stages. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of child welfare practices to ensure a safe learning environment. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere for learning. Familiarity with early intervention strategies to support children with diverse needs. Experience in private school settings is a plus but not required.
