Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Infant Lead Teacher•Early Learning Classroom The Learning Experience•Canton is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Lead Teacher to guide our infant classroom and support children during their earliest stages of development. This role focuses on creating a nurturing and responsive environment where infants feel safe, supported, and engaged through consistent routines, sensory exploration, and positive teacher-child relationships. This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys building strong connections with families while leading a warm and organized infant classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Lead daily classroom routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision Implement developmentally appropriate sensory learning activities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Observe and support developmental milestones and early communication skills Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and developmental progress Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies Qualifications Prior childcare experience required CDA preferred but not required Infant classroom experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $16•19 based on experience and credentials Consistent weekday schedule Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment Professional development opportunities Employee childcare discount Apply today to join The Learning Experience•Canton and help create a warm, engaging classroom where infants build strong foundations for lifelong learning and development.
