Job Description

The role of the Childcare Substitute Teacher is to provide additional support in the childcare setting, as well as lunchroom/playground.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for children
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, snack time, and homework time
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in a child care setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
