Job Description
The Goddard School is a renowned Early Childhood Education Program. A leader in the industry, the Goddard School provides the highest standards in safety and education. We are a premier preschool that offers the best preparation for social, physical, and academic success for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. All of this cannot be done without an amazing faculty . We have spaces for our management team and teachers to study, lesson plan, and recharge. We promote and support a collaborative work atmosphere for our staff. We attract and retain the best educators by providing them with a supportive & collaborative culture, and the tools they need to be successful in their respective role. We are looking for lead teachers to join our team working in our toddler room. This is a full-time hourly position. Teacher Responsibilities A lead teacher's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment Advance children's physical and intellectual competence Support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance Establish positive and effective family relations Ensure an effective program, responsive to children's needs Maintain professional commitment Lead Teacher Requirements MUST possess a current CDA, A.A., or B.A. in a child-related field or meet the state requirements for a lead teacher Must have experience working in an early childhood program Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Self-Motivated and Highly Organized Benefits Health Vision Dental Paid Holidays Paid Time Off for the Week Between Christmas and New Years PTO Tuition Discounts Reimbursed Professional Development up to set amount State-of- the-
