As a Lead Teacher, you will: Design and implement meaningful, hands-on lesson plans that spark curiosity and critical thinking Guide children through play-based learning using the HighScope curriculum Build strong, supportive relationships with children and families Embrace outdoor learning in our Nature Explore classrooms Shape your classroom environment and teaching approach—we trust teachers to know what's best for their students
What We're Looking For:
A growth-minded educator who values child-led learning over rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculums Someone who understands that learning can be messy, imperfect, and full of meaningful moments A collaborative leader who thrives in a supportive environment and wants to make a lasting impact An educator who values social-emotional development alongside academics and believes early education is about building confidence, resilience, and empathy
Qualifications:
CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or actively working toward one) Experience in an early childhood classroom A strong understanding of play-based learning and openness to outdoor, nature-based education Familiarity with HighScope and/or Conscious Discipline is a plus Strong communication and leadership skills
