Position is full time and candidate would need to be available Monday thru Friday. This is a leadership position that requires teacher to be authoritative, detailed, and able to master and oversee the program.

Location:

Wise Road in Commerce Twp., MI. Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

• Be a good judge of character and reputation (this includes social media)
• Must dress professional and have good personal hygiene
• Be of a positive disposition and must love children
• Have reliable transportation, are dependable and punctual
• Must be able to sustain a high level of energy, to stand for long periods, and list up to 50 lbs.
• Have experience working with young children
• with a commitment to education and learning provided by center if need be.
• Assistant do not need this degree.

Responsibilities Include:

• The safety, education and care of every young scholar in our programs
• Implementing lessons and activities to support development and keep children engaged both indoors and outdoors
• Supervising and engaging in play with children
• Providing for children's personal and social needs including: diapering, dressing, preparation, and cleaning up before and after all meals
• Notating developmental progress and areas in need of support to assist in assessment
• Communicating positively and politely with the children, staff, and parents
• Maintaining an exceptionally clean and a safe environment. This includes all housekeeping duties done daily, such as, but not limited to: vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen area and bathroom, as well as, keep a neat and organized classroom.
• Cleaning and maintaining a health, safe center.
