Childhood Dreams is a homebased daycare as a Child Care Assistant, where your enthusiasm. We are currently hiring for a childcare assiatant that will help foster a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will contribute to creating a joyful learning space that encourages curiosity, growth, and social skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while gaining valuable experience in childcare and early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers and caregivers in implementing daily activities that promote childhood development and learning. Provide attentive care to toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through engaging activities. Help with diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene routines in accordance with health and safety standards. Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and creative projects that stimulate curiosity and cognitive growth. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and learning materials regularly. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure immediate response to emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among children. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Previous hands-on experience caring for infants and toddlers is highly desirable.
