Job Description

High Achievers Montessori is looking for a full time position as an early childhood educator. We are an authentic Montessori program, operating Monday
  • Friday, 49 weeks of the year.
The ideal candidate must love children, respectfully assist the families we serve, and present an enthusiastic work ethic. Training will be provided in the AMS Montessori philosophy. We are a community of educators who advocate for our children, and provide a nurturing, safe environment for the passion for learning to begin. Requirements include:
Have an early childhood certificate Pass a background check Have at least 2 years of early childhood experience teaching
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a child related field. (Elementary Education, Family Studies, Etc.)
  • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Montessori credential with at least 1 year of experience
  • Valid Child Development Associate credential with at least 2 years of experience Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop, implement, and evaluate lesson plans for the Preschool classroom Provide an environment that ensures the health and safety of the Preschool classroom Provide endless hands on learning experiences for the children Use positive guidance and discipline in the Preschool classroom Build a team with and direct the assistant teachers in the Preschool classroom Maintain communication of the children's development with parents/guardians Actively participate in professional development opportunities
