Summary We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at United Children and Family Head Start. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young children, helping them develop essential skills as they prepare for their future. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early learning. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Assess children's progress through observation and standardized testing methods. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support children's needs and well-being. Facilitate early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Experience working with young children in an educational or daycare setting. Strong understanding of child welfare principles and early childhood development. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
