We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where children can develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience working in preschool classrooms, and a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development. This individual will play a key role in planning and implementing meaningful learning experiences while building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. About Morning Star At Morning Star Child Care Center, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, and developmentally appropriate practices. We value collaboration, professionalism, and creating a welcoming community where children, families, and staff thrive. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans for 4 year-olds that align with program goals and curriculum. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all areas of child development. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language growth through intentional teaching practices. Manage classroom routines and dynamics effectively while promoting positive behavior and independence. Observe, monitor, and assess children's progress to ensure individualized learning needs are met. Maintain a well-organized classroom that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through play. Build strong partnerships with families through ongoing communication and collaboration. Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administrators to support short and long term program goals and center initiatives. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field. Associate degree accepted in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Previous classroom teaching experience required, preferably in a preschool setting. Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
