The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves providing care for children, facilitating their development, and ensuring their well-being while promoting a positive learning atmosphere. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, and hygiene practices. Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare setting. Provide first aid when necessary and maintain health standards in accordance with regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or daycare settings is required. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. CPR/ First aid certification required; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining children. A nurturing demeanor with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass background check
