Job Overview Job Description-Private Preschool Teacher - GSRP classroom Countryside Montessori School continues to anticipate the needs of families in the Hillsdale County area and expand its programs and staffing team to meet those needs. Now serving 90 families per year, our program is well known and respected by educators and loved by parents and children alike. We are expanding again and looking for that next teacher to join an established team. Our team is dedicated to teaching the future generations how to be an upstanding citizen by teaching good manners, mutual respect, independence, and a sense of what farm to table includes. Your morning begins with greeting the students with a smile and a handshake. Your classroom is structured to allow children independence in choosing their work. You will also gently assist them while they bake, hammer, learn sounds, wash dishes, and work with the decimal system. All of our teachers have come to Countryside Montessori from other teaching programs. They quickly see the vast differences and are constantly amazed at how relaxed and joyful the classrooms are. Our staff would love the opportunity to share what a tremendous impact Montessori has on students and families. Countryside Montessori is for the teacher who:

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education - Preferred
• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education
• CPR/First Aid Certified or ability to become certified

Experience:

• Familiar with Montessori philosophy but not required
• Preschool experience preferred

Skills:

• Excellent oral and written skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective communication
• Ability to laugh and find joy in the little things This position may require climbing a ladder, bending, stooping, sitting on floor, lifting
