Job Description

Pitter Patter in Interlochen, MI is searching for a Lead Preschool teacher. A love of early childhood education and enjoyment of a fun and busy work environment is a must. Ideal candidate should have a CDA or higher education, be able to pass fingerprint and background clearances, tb test and willing to be CPR/First Aid trained (we provide if you need it). Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting activities to support individual learning goals. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Collaborate with staff to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all children, including those with special needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining First Aid and CPR certifications. Summary As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Reporting to the Early Childhood Education Director, your role involves utilizing your core skills in childcare, teaching, and classroom management to support the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. With required certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Child Development Associate, you will ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
