In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants and toddlers. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and transitions to foster positive behavior and emotional well-being. Collaborate with team members to design individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention support. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's milestones, concerns, and daily experiences. Oversee classroom management duties such as maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols in compliance with childcare standards. Qualifications Prior classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience in curriculum development that incorporates Montessori methods or other educational philosophies like preschool or preschool experience. Familiarity with literacy education, math concepts for early learners, physical education activities, and classroom management best practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in special education or toddler care is a plus. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standard teaching practices such as lesson planning, tutoring techniques, and classroom organization.
