Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to engage with children in educational and recreational activities. The Childcare Provider will also work closely with families to support the individual needs of each child. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their unique needs. Foster a love for learning through teaching basic concepts such as numbers, colors, and letters. Document children's developmental milestones and daily activities. Qualifications Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development theories. First aid certification and CPR training is required. Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to create engaging learning experiences. Experience in toddler care, infant care, or caregiving roles is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers and educators. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. A background in teaching or classroom experience is beneficial.
