Job Description
Sprout Early Care & Preschool is a small business located located in Kalamazoo and Otsego, MI. We are social, fast-paced, fun, and our goal is to build a dynamic team by hiring fun, professional, nurturing teachers that will have a positive effect on the families and children we care for. Our center is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm, we are seeking full time candidates to assist our lead teachers in classrooms. Hours may vary due to needs of the center.

We are not babysitters, we are educations who strive to help each child reach their potential- from learning social skills and conflict resolution, to encouraging creative expression, and working on STEM-focused play (science, technology, engineering, and math).
Requirements:
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being of all children & have a passion to work with children
- Possess a high school diploma
- Be able to kneel, squat, lift, bend, and carry children of various sizes and weights
- Have reliable transportation
- Ability to work at a fast pace
