Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to children's developmental needs. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity. Collaborate with parents and staff to promote a positive educational experience. Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and progress. Lead classroom management and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Valid CDA teaching certification or license in the state of Michigan. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents. Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for learning.
