Job Description

Ms. C and T's Learning Place is looking for a passionate and dedicated Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a GSRP Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for our young students. You'll play a vital role in their early development, helping them build the foundational skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with GSRP standards. Plan and lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Foster strong home-school connections through regular parent-teacher communication, including the completion of required home visits and formal conferences to share developmental progress Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective learning community. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and other required documentation. Adhere to all GSRP and licensing regulations and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Proven experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 4-5) in a classroom setting. Strong understanding of GSRP standards and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
