Full Job Description Childcare Provider Duties:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Ensure the well-being and safety of children at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Administer medication or follow specific care instructions, if required
Skills:
- Experience in childcare, including toddler care and infant care
- Ability to work with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and milestones
- Strong behavior management skills to promote positive behavior
- Familiarity with educational techniques to engage and stimulate learning
- Previous experience working with students or in an educational setting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
