Lead Teacher Job Responsibilities:

Plan, supervise, and carry out education program as designed by IXL Learning Center Responsible for the appearance of the classroom (ie. bulletin boards, care of equipment and materials, overall cleanliness, and organization) Supervise children in classroom and on playground at all times, which may include lifting children and equipment Share in classroom housekeeping and cleaning duties Open, daily communication with parents Lesson planning in the Creative Curriculum Implementing strong classroom management Maintain a positive and professional attitude

Lead Teacher Requirements:

Looking for someone who is positive, caring, loving, and patient Must work well with others Able to lift children of varying ages and equipment of varying sizes Educational requirements: Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, Bachelors in Child Development, or Bachelors in Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement. Associates degree with ability to attain a Bachelors in early childhood education or child development with a focus on preschool teaching within three years of being hired.
