The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide variety of children, including infants, and will be able to keep our children engaged with fun activities throughout the day. The qualified candidate will be able to work independently in a busy environment and is responsible for communicating progress reports to parents on a regular basis.

Lead Teachers are responsible for:

• Communication with parents about classroom and students
• Creating and following curriculum and lesson planning

Preschool Lead Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Degree in Early Education = Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check
