2026-27 School Year Daily Hours/Schedule -
TBD Summary:
To provide high quality, trustworthy childcare that meets the individual and group needs of the children in the program.
Duties/Skills/Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bilingual preferred; Flexibility with scheduled hours; Child Development Accreditation certificate or equivalent preferred; Experience working with or caring for children and ability to work in a diverse environment; First Aid/CPR certified or willingness to obtain; Ability to relate to young children in positive and constructive ways; Ability to assist with personal care, grooming and medical needs of students; Good attendance and punctuality; Ability to relate and work effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community; Knowledge and awareness of own cultural identity and how this influences behavior, and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others; Ability to establish and nurture an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff, students, and patrons of the District; Ability to recognize that each person is a unique individual even as we celebrate their group cultural heritage;
