Admin Team Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Commitment to Pine Pals mission and vision
• Knowledge and competency of MN Rule 3
• Assist with lesson planning and curriculum implementation
• Collaborate with other teachers, assistants and aides
• General Housekeeping duties within the classroom and shared spaces
• Modeling skills for aides
• Ability to obtain additional training hours as required by state licensing and Parent Aware programming
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents
• Address cultural or special needs
• Attend monthly staff meetings Education and/or

Work Experience Requirements:

• Enthusiastic, dedicated, and eager to learn with children
• Some education in child development preferred
• Work experience in child care, preschool, or elementary education setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- ability to express ideas and concerns to supervisor in a timely manner
• Introductory knowledge of Intergenerational Learning and Outdoor Learning
• Self-motivated
• Approachable, consistent and professional

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to frequently move through the facility
• Ability to lift children at times
• Ability to physically get down to a child's level

Work Environment:

• Early education setting. Noise-level elevated at times throughout the day.
• Frequent needs for creative problem-solving.
• Maximum licensed capacity of 100 children.
