Immediately Job Description Crosby-Ironton School District has an opening for a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.
REQUIREMENTS
Current MN Special Education teaching license.
SALARY RANGE
$48,760 - $92,905
HIRING BONUS:
$5,000 (must hold Special Education Licensure to qualify.)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) for preschool-aged children with disabilities and developmental delays. Assess students' developmental, academic, social-emotional, communication, and behavioral needs using formal and informal evaluation methods. Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes growth and independence. Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and developmental levels. Provide direct instruction in individual, small-group, and classroom settings. Collaborate with families, administrators, therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to support student success. Monitor student progress toward IEP goals and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Conduct parent conferences and communicate regularly with families regarding student development and educational progress. Implement positive behavior support strategies and classroom management techniques. Facilitate social, emotional, language, cognitive, and motor skill development through evidence-based instructional practices. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, eligibility determinations, and IEP meetings. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education laws, regulations, and district policies. Coordinate and support transitions into kindergarten or other educational settings. Maintain confidentiality of student records and information. Participate in professional development activities and remain current on best practices in early childhood and special education.
