This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives. ( Great part-time opportunity for college students ) Duties Provide attentive care for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities. Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Support classroom routines such as snack times, diaper changes, and play. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians as necessary. Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and developmentally appropriate conduct. Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles is highly valued. Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and engaging them in developmental activities. Familiarity with classroom experience or daycare operations that support early learning environments. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Seeking candidates for 1-2 Thursday evenings per month from 6:15pm - approx 8:30pm. You are able to arrive early (5:45pm) to enjoy a free dinner. Criminal Background checks will be completed.
