Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Transition Room Teacher to support children ages 12 months through 24 months. This role is vital in fostering a positive learning atmosphere, promoting social-emotional growth, and ensuring children are meeting all developmental milestones. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating fun educational experiences that children will enjoy! Employee will also receive a $500 sign on bonus after completion of 6 months worked. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans Monitor child behavior using classroom management techniques, ensuring a supportive environment conducive to learning and social development. Ensure room requirements for Rule 3 are met Communicate effectively with parents, co-workers and Director Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development tailored for toddlers and preschoolers, including literacy education and Montessori methods. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and external specialists. Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and child welfare. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is a plus. Previous experience in private school or daycare environments that emphasize childhood development principles is preferred.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
