Job Description
Lead Teacher
- Early Learning Center 18169 County Road 50, Hamburg, MN 55339 $17
- $20 an hour
- Full-time $17

Primary Responsibilities:
Assume responsiblity of classroom management Implement curriculum and classroom activities Follow daily classroom schedules Delegate tasks and provide guidance to classroom staff Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming and engaging learning environment Interact and co-play with children throughout the day Support children's physical health, emotional well-being, and happiness using positive guidance, protect child's well-being Build strong relationships with families and communicate regularly about child progress and classroom updates Conduct parent conferences twice per year and complete child assessments Complete additional duties as assigned Follow all DCYF Rule 3 and state licensing requirementsMinimum Qualifications:
Previous childcare experience For Teacher/Assistant Teacher qualified positions- meets the education & experience requirements as defined by DCYF State background check and fingerprints Certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR completed within 30 days of employment

Extensive standing, walking, and sitting on the floor or low chairs Mobility required to ensure the safety of children Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling Lifting and carrying children (especially in infant/toddler classrooms) Moving classroom equipment (cots, tables, etc.) Working in varying weather conditions Exposure to bodily fluids and occasional unpleasant odors Regular exposure to loud noise typical in a childcare environment Grow with us!
