In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, supporting their growth and development through engaging activities and personalized care. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire curiosity, foster social-emotional skills, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of infants. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles to enhance learning experiences. Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene needs in accordance with best practices in childcare. Manage classroom dynamics through effective behavior management techniques to create a positive and respectful environment. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special education needs or accommodations. Maintain detailed records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing standards. Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and ensuring a safe space for all children. Qualifications Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare or preschool environments. Knowledge of childhood development theories, special education practices, and early intervention approaches. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies. Familiarity with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and standardized testing procedures related to early childhood education. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or training in early childhood education or childcare; Montessori or preschool experience is a plus.
