As a soon-to-be NAEYC accredited and Parent Aware-rated program, we are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development, has strong communication skills, and is committed to helping children become lifelong learners. This is a paid position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children while collaborating with a committed and supportive team of early childhood educators.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood learning standards Create a warm, welcoming, and structured classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and social-emotional development Manage daily classroom routines and transitions to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment Use positive behavior guidance strategies to support a safe and inclusive classroom Collaborate with families to support each child's development and learning goals Partner with coworkers, specialists, and early intervention providers to support diverse learner needs Conduct developmental assessments and conferences twice per year to monitor progress Maintain accurate records including attendance, developmental progress, behavior documentation, and child welfare compliance in accordance with licensing requirements (Rule 3)
Qualifications:
Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) in an early childhood setting Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice Knowledge of early intervention strategies and inclusive classroom practices Strong communication skills with children, families, and team members Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques Experience in preschool programming preferred Minimum of a CDA required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field strongly preferred We are looking for someone who is committed to high-quality early learning, collaboration, and creating a classroom where all children feel safe, supported, and valued.
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
