Job Description
LHCCC is hiring a Lead -Qualified teacher or CDA candidate to join our team! We are a small, nonprofit childcare that truly believes in providing a great place for teachers and children to thrive. Our Preschool room is licensed for eight children, which provides many opportunities for one on one time with each child. LHCCC offers Health & Dental Insurance (we pay 80%), reduced tuition, paid holidays (including weather closures), a generous holiday bonus, and partially paid maternity leave. Job Duties Create and implement lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of children 31 months-4 years. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschoolers to grow and learn Attend to the physical and emotional needs of preschoolers. Observe and document developmental progress of preschoolers and communicate with parents/guardians regularly Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education Maintain a clean and organized classroom Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the care and education of children Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the care and education of children. Qualifications Teacher qualified according to DHS standards Willingness to obtain Pediatric First Aid/CPR Ability to lift and move 50 lbs Ability to sit and stand for periods of time Must be able to pass a background study We look forward to meeting new candidates and welcoming them to our community!
