DESCRIPTION

Blessed Trinity Catholic School is looking for two part-time extended day program teachers working with our Extended Day (K-8) programs. The schedule generally includes a 4-5 hour shift daily between 1:00 - 5:30 pm. The Extended Day Staff collaborates with other members of the preschool and extended day team to provide a safe, fun environment for summer activities and enrichment. Daily responsibilities include supervision of assigned groups of students, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, facilitate snack breaks, and chaperone field trips as required. Additional hours and schedules on school breaks and during summer program are available.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an extended day and/or childcare program and hold a minimum of a high school diploma (College degree preferred). Must have current (or able to get) CPR and First Aid certification. Working toward teacher or childcare license preferred. Childcare Teacher (Rule 3 Qualified) or Eligible preferred. Language skills, particularly in Spanish, preferred.
