Cloud. We are expanding and looking for a dedicated teacher who is excited to work with young children in a positive growing environment.

Description :

The Preschool Teacher runs the classroom and works with the assistant teacher or aides to provide a warm, loving, atmosphere, and support the development of the children and their parents. Teacher must be able to work and plan in a team setting with patience, enthusiasm and respect for the children, parents and fellow staff. The Lead Teacher supervises the Assistant Teacher, aides and volunteers.

Qualifications:

CDA, or BA/BS degree in early childhood or elementary education preferred. Must be MN Rule 3 Lead Teacher qualified and Assistant qualified Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Responsibilities:

Supervises the daily class functions of a group of children. Plans and implement the daily lesson plans and classroom activities. Assesses each child's developmental needs on a ongoing basis. Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourage children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence. Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds. Attends all required staff meetings and workshops. Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Love and Learn Childcare Academy Handbook. We believe Love and Learn Childcare Academy should be more than simply a place parents send their children. The caring environment we seek to create for our children is vital to us, to the parents, and most importantly, to the children.
