Applications are available online at www.wwgschools.org Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in preschool, toddler care, or infant care settings. Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Monitor children's behavior and provide positive guidance to support good behavior management practices. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and safety. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental progress, and incident reports as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational plans that meet the needs of children with diverse abilities or special education requirements. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Valid certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and nurturing qualities. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members. Certification or training in behavior management techniques is desirable.
