Job Description

Juniper Root is Hiring for the Summer! We are in need of an assistant to help out with our summer crew 2-3 days a week this summer.
Job duties include:
  • form caring connections with a small group of children age 3-10 years old
  • support children in their self-chosen explorations
  • help guide the flow of activity in positive directions
  • general cleaning and tidying The children at Juniper Root have cited the following qualities that they value in a guide:
  • kind, caring, calm, and strong
  • able to help someone if they are upset
  • loves dogs and nature
Details:
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00am-4:00pm (potential for a 3rd day/week)
  • June-August
  • $15•18/ hour This position is available now—we can also wait until July for the right candidate.
Juniper Root is a Montessori preschool for 3-6 year olds and a self-directed learning space for 7-12 year olds. We value nature, autonomy, communication, and collaboration.
