Job Description

Full Job Description KidStuff Preschool is actively seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our team! We are looking for an experienced childcare teacher but are willing to help train those that are not! If you love being around kids, always wear a smile on your face, and enjoy working on a team, you are the one we are looking for! Set schedule of Monday through Friday 1:30pm to 5:30pm Responsibilities Communicate with parents, co-teacher and staff regularly! This is one of the most important responsibilities of the job. Supervise children in all activities - including outdoor play at all times. Change diapers as needed. Sanitize and clean the classroom regularly throughout the day. Help the co-teacher implement and plan weekly lessons according to the developmental benchmarks for each child in the classroom. Track and log children's daily activities (food intake, diaper changes, activities for the day) in Brightwheel. Collaborate and support other teachers in the building. Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Qualifications Demonstrated ability or requisite personal qualities to work well with children and adults You have a passion for working with children with varying needs and levels You possess well-refined communication skills You are capable of maintaining confidentiality of all information provided about students and staff You have organizational skills to maintain multiple projects simultaneously You are a strategic thinker, and love a clear process of implementation You have high expectations of self and team with a high sense of urgency You are able to understand and manage personal emotions, as well as recognize, listen to, and respond to other people's emotions and perspectives
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED certificate Currently have or be willing to become certified in First Aid Must be willing to undergo background screening, TB test, and medical exam. Must be willing to participate in 6 hours of continuing education.
