Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of all ages. In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Responsibilities Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment Support children's emotional well-being through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child safety or well-being Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play Collaborate with parents and team members to communicate children's progress and address individual needs Skills Experience working with children across various settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or youth programs teaching experience Proven ability to work with individuals with disabilities and adapt activities accordingly Excellent classroom experience with behavior management techniques tailored for young children Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Effective teaching skills with young children, including toddlers and infants care expertise Join us in creating a joyful, safe space where children can explore, learn, and grow!
