1 year Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred) Full Job Description KidStuff Preschool is actively seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our team! We are looking for an experienced childcare teacher but are willing to help train those that are not! If you love being around kids, always wear a smile on your face, and enjoy working on a team, you are the one we are looking for! Infant Teacher Shifts 12:30pm - 5:30pm Responsibilities Communicate with parents, co-teachers , and staff regularly! This is one of the most important responsibilities of the job. Supervise children in all activities - including outdoor play at all times. Change diapers every two hours and as needed in between those times. Sanitize and clean the classroom regularly throughout the day. Help the co-teacher implement and plan weekly lessons according to the developmental benchmarks for each child in the classroom. Feeding infants/toddlers per individual care plan provided by the parents. Track and log children's daily activities (food intake, diaper changes, activities for the day) in Brightwheel. Collaborate and support other teachers in the building. Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Skills Must have a positive attitude and calm demeanor Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Great time management Ability to actively engage in play with children Ability to act as a mediator between children Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable Must be willing to become certified in First Aid Must be willing to undergo background screening, TB test, and medical exam. Must be willing to participate in 6 hours of continuing education.
