Assistant Director, Childcare Center IMPACT Academy Child Care Job Summary Are you a quailfied early education professional who has had enough of toxic work enviornments? Do you have a calling to keep kids safe? IMPACT Academy Child Care is a Christian based center, and we would love to have you join our team! We are in search of a dedicated Assistant Director to help lead our Childcare Center with enthusiasm, expertise, love and by faith. In this vital role, you will support the overall needs of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your leadership will help uphold high standards of early childhood education, compliance with licensing regulations, and effective communication with families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to the growth of a vibrant educational community. Duties Assist the Center Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all programs Support staff with classroom supervision Implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education best practices and state licensing requirements Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations to provide a secure environment for children and staff Foster positive relationships with families through regular communication, updates, and parent engagement activities Coordinate classroom activities and monitor program quality to promote developmental milestones Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education or related fields Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings Strong background in education administration and program management Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support staff effectively Knowledge of licensing standards, health & safety protocols, and child development principles Exceptional communication skills to engage with families, staff, and community partners Join us in making a profound impact in the lives of the children we care for.
Pay:
$15.75 - $16.50 per hour
