Daycare Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your responsibilities will include developing age-appropriate activities, managing classroom behavior, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood learning and development. Supervise and interact with children in a safe and caring manner. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Provide individualized attention to students to support their unique needs. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills. Qualifications Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Some knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is preferred but we will work to train in the area of childcare Experience in babysitting or caregiving roles is highly desirable. Ability to create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus but not required.
