Sunset Hills, MO Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Student supervision Hygiene practices (early childhood general education) Montessori Clean workspace maintenance Collaborative teaching Full Job Description We are seeking a caring, patient, and dependable individual to join our Montessori classroom serving children ages 20-24 months. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys supporting young children as they develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing Montessori environment. Support children with daily routines, including toileting, handwashing, meals, and transitions. Observe and guide children respectfully while encouraging independence. Prepare and maintain classroom materials and learning areas. Collaborate with the lead teacher to support each child's developmental needs. Communicate professionally with staff and families.
Qualifications:
Experience working with toddlers is preferred. Montessori training or willingness to learn Montessori principles is a plus. Patient, reliable, and compassionate demeanor. Ability to work well as part of a team. Must be able to lift, bend, and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
