Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with developmental milestones and curriculum standards Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior guidance techniques Support children's social-emotional development by encouraging cooperation, sharing, and communication skills Provide age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, numeracy, physical activity, and creativity Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, attendance, and behavioral notes in compliance with childcare regulations Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including adherence to mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Experience developing curriculum tailored for preschoolers and toddlers, including Montessori methods if applicable Proven classroom management skills to create an organized, respectful learning environment Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and special education needs Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education Knowledge of childcare regulations, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in child welfare Competence in lesson planning for preschool teaching, physical education activities, tutoring sessions, and literacy education Join us in shaping bright futures!
