Preschool Teacher

Leaping Lizards is looking a qualified individual with teaching experience for our 4 year old classroom. The individual will responsible as Lead Teacher in developing and implementing our curriculum.

Responsibilities and duties:

Prepare lesson plans, teach children, and instruct on basic skills. Evaluate children's progress and needs. Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.) Provide a safe and positive environment. Maintain a clean classroom.

Skills:

Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Ability to act as mediator between children Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable Certification in child CPR Preferred degree in childhood education.
