In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Whether leading a classroom or stepping in as a substitute, your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children's growth and development. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse age groups, from toddlers to preschoolers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills through innovative teaching methods and compassionate care. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Lead classroom activities that support childhood development milestones and encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies to create a safe and respectful learning environment. Provide individualized support for children requiring special education or early intervention services to ensure inclusive participation. Maintain detailed lesson plans, progress reports, and documentation aligned with standardized testing requirements and developmental benchmarks. Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and welfare. Step into classrooms as a substitute teacher when needed, quickly adapting to new environments while maintaining high-quality instruction. Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; classroom management skills are highly valued. Knowledge of early childhood development theories, childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Experience supporting children with special needs through early intervention strategies is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families in their child's learning journey. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in childcare or preschool experience is advantageous.
