Assistant Daycare Director / Director Designee

Assistant Director General Position Description The Center Director Designee is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education, for all children within the center's care and assuming Director responsibilities in their absence. This position reports to Owner.

Duties:

• Assist the Director in managing the daily operations of the childcare facility
• Oversee and coordinate classroom activities and curriculum implementation
• Support teachers in behavior management and classroom management techniques
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and safety protocols
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff members
• Collaborate with parents to address any concerns or questions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student enrollment, attendance, and progress

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of childcare practices and childhood development
• Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote a positive learning environment
• Proficient in behavior management techniques and strategies
• Familiarity with educational resources and materials for early childhood education
